Pregnant Women:
Apply for a Maternal and Child Health Handbook (Boshi Kenko Techo) at the Health and Social Welfare Service Section, Ward Office.
Those with children who are 0 to 5 years of age:
Complete the stipulated procedures for Pediatric Medical Care at the Insurance and Pension Section of the Ward Office.
Those with children who is Grade 3 and below (Incomerestrictions apply):
Complete the stipulated procedures for the Child Allowance at the Residents’ Section of the Ward Office.
Those who want to enroll their child in nursery school:
Complete the stipulated procedures at the Health and Welfare Service Section of the Ward Office.
Those who want to enroll their child in kindergarten:
Contact the Board of Education Academic Section (Tel: 044-200-3267).
Those who plan to stay in Japan for one year or longer and are not enrolled in the health insurance plan at the place of their employment:
Complete the stipulated procedures for National Health Insurance at the Insurance and Pension Section of the Ward Office.
Those with a disabled family member:
Complete the stipulated procedures for a Physical Disability Certificate or Mental Retardation Certificate at the Health and Welfare Service Section of the Ward Office.
Those with children who will enroll in elementary or junior high school:
Complete the stipulated procedures at the Residents’ Section of the Ward Office.
