Kawasaki International Association recognizes the importance of personal information, which it strives to handle appropriately in accordance with the Kawasaki International Association Rules on the Protection of Personal Information.

Collection of Personal Information

Kawasaki International Association (hereinafter, “the association”) obtains personal information via the following methods

  1. Volunteer registration
  2. Applications for courses and events
  3. Received inquiries

Purpose of Use of Personal Information

The association may use personal information for the following purposes:

The association may use contact information such as email addresses and postal addresses to contact people regarding the dispatch of volunteers, provide notifications regarding courses and events, respond to inquiries, send notifications regarding document requests, etc.
The association may use contact information such as email addresses and postal addresses on an annual basis to confirm with volunteers whether they wish to renew their registration.

Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

The association will not provide personal information to any third party except for in the following cases:

  • Cases in which the information to be disclosed and the entity to receive that information has been specified, and the individual in question has provided their consent to the provision of information in advance.
  • Cases in which a courier service is being tasked with shipping newsletters, documents, or teaching materials to individuals.
  • Cases required by law.

Disclosure, Revision, Etc. of Personal Information

The association will respond to requests from individuals about the disclosure of their own information, or changes (corrections, etc.) to said information, or for the deletion of said information in a timely manner. To prevent the leakage of personal information to third parties in such instances, the identity of the individual will be confirmed.

Collection of Access Logs and Cookies

The association’s website uses access logs and cookies to track visitors to the site. Access logs and cookies include information including but not limited to the time and date of access and the user’s IP address, browser and OS. This information does not include any information that identifies the individual in question.

Note: Information such as access logs, cookies, etc. that do not contain personal information will not be disclosed, in principle.

On the use of Google Analytics

On the website of Kawasaki International Center, access analysis is conducted by using “Google Analytics.”
The information acquired, recorded, and analyzed by “Google Analytics” does not include any information which can identify the specific individual.
Also the aforementioned information is managed by Google in accordance with its privacy policy.

Revision of the Privacy Policy

The association may review and revise the privacy policy as appropriate. In the event that the privacy policy is revised, the revision will be announced on the association website.
The revised privacy policy will be placed on the association website in a timely manner.
