A number of traditional Japanese houses have been preserved in Ikuta
Green Park. These private residences were dismantled and transported from various locations
throughout Japan, including Kanagawa Prefecture, and have been carefully rebuilt in
this park according to the region they originally came from. Seven of the houses have
been officially designated as important national cultural properties.
